Abstract
Abnormal brain scans were found in three out of 160 patients with multiple sclerosis, most of them in acute phases of the disease. One had a clinical picture simulating a frontal mass lesion, and the diagnosis was confirmed histologically. In two, the uptake was most probably related to active optic neuritis.Keywords
