Abstract
The experimental heat capacity data for crystalline Cl2, CO2, SO2, SCO, N2O, C2N2, C6H6, C2H4, and CH3Br have been compared with the results of calculations made employing a semitheoretical method suggested by Lord, Ahlberg, and Andrews and amplified by Lord. Good agreement between the calculated and experimental results is obtained. Keywords
