Abstract
An 8-channel dynamic power equalizer is simulated in the backbone of the GiGA network. Results show how the power of added OADM channels contributes to the power imbalance of the network and to the OSNR of transmitted channels. An 8-channel equalizer is also assembled and successfully tested at the test bench.Keywords
