Abstract
Summary: In a retrospective within-patient study, the arterial pressures of 174 normotensive and 50 hypertensive subjects in winter and summer were compared. Both systolic and diastolic pressures were higher in winter in the two groups but the differences were small and reached statistical significance only in the case of systolic pressure in normotensive subjects. Keywords
