Abstract
We demonstrate 54.2Tb/s transmission over transoceanic distances with an average channel rate above 300Gb/s and power consumption as low as 37.1pW/bit/s for the transmission line, thanks to ultra-low-loss fibers, multi-rate FECs and digital nonlinear mitigation techniques. Keywords
