Analytical Problems in Evaluating Mineral Concentrations in Animal Tissues

Abstract

Quantitative measurement of tissue mineral concentration requires good sampling procedures, appropriate sample preparation and application of suitable analytical techniques. These factors were discussed, and suggestions were developed for dealing with the problems which result when quantifying tissue minerals in the mg/kg to μg/kg range.
