Abstract
Levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol are inversely related to cardiovascular risk. Torcetrapib, a cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) inhibitor, increases HDL cholesterol levels, but the functional effects associated with this mechanism remain uncertain.Keywords
