GENITOURINARY COMPLICATIONS OF GRANULOMATOUS BOWEL DISEASE

Abstract
A general review of genitourinary complications in patients with Crohn’s disease is presented along with 9 new cases, the roentgenographic findings of which are evaluated. It would seem that a high incidence of such complications is present in this patient group; hence, evaluation of the genitourinary tract by means of intravenous pyelography is recommended in any regional enteritis patient with urinary symptoms, advanced disease, or anticipated bowel resection.
