Abstract
Solubility tests of eight dental cements showed that the rate of solubility can be fitted to a mathematical expression that indicates that solubility decreases exponentially in time. Solubility was increased by continually presenting fresh liquid, unsaturated with solute, to the cement-water interface. A liquid absorption test was developed to give an additional criterion for the life of dental cements. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
