Abstract
A method for the calculation of electronic transport properties of metals with the linearized augmented plane wave is described. The interpolation of the electronic band dispersion is performed with the modified Shankland-Koelling-Wood interpolation scheme. The high-frequency oscillations in the interpolated band structure due to band crossings near the Fermi surface are suppressed using a simple filtering technique. The calculated Hall coefficients for a large variety of metals with cubic symmetry are in good agreement with experiment. Keywords
