Abstract
Streptococcal strains, isolated from bovine mastitis cases, showed the following resistance patterns against macrolide, lincosamide and streptogramin (MLS) antibiotics; (i) MLS (group B) inducible resistance, (ii) MLS (group B) constitutive resistance, (iii) ML generalized resistance, (iv) MLS generalized resistance, and (v) LS low-level resistance. The strains of the fourth and fifth resistance patterns were able to inactivate the lincosamide antibiotics lincomycin and clindamycin. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
