Abstract
A meta-analysis was performed on the relationship between specialization and innovation in organizations. This analysis showed a statistically significant correlation for this relationship. Results suggest that the type of organization is a moderator of the specialization-innovation relationship as such that in manufacturing organization this correlation is stronger than in service organizations. Some implications for future research are presentedKeywords
