Essential Oils ofEupatorium triplinerveVahl andE. paniculatumPoepp. et Endl.

Abstract
The essential oils of leaves and stems of Eupatorium triplinerve Vahl and E. paniculatum Poepp et Endl. were obtained by hydrodistillation and analyzed by GC/MS. The oil of E. triplinerve was dominated by 2,5-dimethoxy p-cymene (69.7%) and β-caryophyllene (19.7%). The major constituent identified in the oil of E. paniculatum was β-caryophyllene (46.8%).
