Abstract
The apparatus described is based on the Faraday law of electromagnetic induction and is especially suited for toroidal samples of ferrimagnetic compounds. The measurements can be performed at frequencies from 1 to 100 kHz and temperatures from 80 to 900K. In addition to the initial permeability and the Curie temperature, this apparatus provides a qualitative determination of the chemical homogeneity of the samples. Keywords
