Abstract
The wearable defibrillator (WCD) was shown to be safe and effective in detecting and terminating ventricular tachyarrhythmias and therefore allows temporary protection from sudden cardiac death. This review gives an overview of the current data on WCD in newly diagnosed cardiomyopathy.Keywords
