Migraine is a prevalent disease characterized by headaches that are often severe and throbbing and accompanied by associated symptoms, such as photophobia, phonophobia, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, cutaneous allodynia, and cognitive dysfunction.1-5 Migraine is a leading cause of neurological disability worldwide and has a substantial effect on society.6-8
