Abstract
An efficient protocol for the palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction of unprotected haloimidazoles is reported. The relatively mild reaction conditions allow for ready access to a wide array of functionalized imidazole derivatives in good to excellent yields. The synthetic utility of this method is demonstrated by the total synthesis of nortopsentin D.Keywords
