Abstract
Thermojunctions suitable for accurate measurement of the tp. of muscles in insects during activity and when exposed to the resulting air flow are described. A method of artificial heating of the body of a paralysed insect to reproduce the tp. curve of activity and measure the corresponding heat input is described.Keywords
