Simple viscometer for samples less than 1 ml

Abstract
A falling ball viscometer is described requiring a sample volume less than 1 ml. Photoelectric read out allows for a fast and simple measurement procedure. The accuracy of the instrument is +or-1.5% in the viscosity range 1-70 cP.
