Abstract
This paper deals with the control of a disease spread within a community, and focusses on whether it is better to attempt to stop the disease by immunizing a large or small ring around an infected area. Computer simulations for a simple model are used to compare different policies. The results of these simulations and their connection with analytical results are discussedKeywords
