Abstract
In this study, two dry beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) (Great Northern 59 and Alberto) and a bombay bean (Phaseolus coccineus L.) (testers) were crossed with five bean genotypes (Phaseolus vulgaris L. PV04001, PV05023, PV04042, PV04026 and PV04032) (lines). F1 hybrids obtained by the line x tester method (5x3). This experiment were established in a a randomized block design with three replicates in the fully controlled Selcuk University Plant Breeding Greenhouse. The effects of non- additive gene and heritability were found to be low. The heterosis and heterobeltiosis values of the F1 generations were positive for seed yield. Keywords
