Abstract
A flow-injection analysis (FIA) with a chemiluminescence detection method was developed for the determination of ornidazole based on the inhibition intensity of chemiluminescence from the luminol-ferricyanide system. Under the condition of 1.0×10-3 mol/L luminol and 5.0×10-6 mol/L potassium ferricyanide, the response to the concentration of ornidazole is linear from 0.2 μg ml-1 to 10 μg ml-1, and a detection limit of 0.05 μg ml-1 can be obtained. This method has been successfully applied to the determination of ornidazole in pharmaceutical preparations. Keywords
