Fatal Chloroquine Ingestion: An Increasing Hazard

Abstract

A fatal case of poisoning with chloroquine is presented in order to increase the awareness of the physician to (1) the severe toxicity of the drug, (2) the lack of specific treatment, and (3) the increasing availability of the drug to children.
