Abstract
And experimental verification Analytical optimisation of nonlinear pulse propagation is demonstrated for long-haul WDM dispersion-managed systems. Experimental loop transmission over 8 000 km shows good agreement with predicted pulsewidth evolution in several channels and confirms optimal system operation.Keywords
