Abstract
The metastasis of tumors to the soft palate is a rather rare occurrence, with few cases documented in literature. Even more extraordinary is the metastasis of a carcinoid tumor to the palate. Problems in evaluation of carcinoid tumors arise from histologic and cytologic characteristics that are not accurate indices of malignancy, at times making recognition and treatment difficult.Keywords
