Abstract
The first terephthalato (TPT) bis-tridentate bridging cadmium coordination polymer, [(TPT)(py)Cd] 1, with blue fluorescent emission, was synthesized by a hydrothermal reaction between Cd(ClO4)2· 6H2O, 1,4-dicyanobenzene and pyridine (py).
