Abstract
Use of an electrolyte-cathode glow discharge (ELCAD) with complex samples is explored. The present state of knowledge in this regard is briefly reviewed and several previously undocumented effects are examined. Remedies to various interferences are proposed and evaluated. The implications of the results to the mechanistic understanding of ELCAD are discussed. Keywords
