Abstract
A modified medium was developed in which very finely divided calcium hydroxy phosphate and bromcresol purple were used as the indicator for the presence of acid-producing colonies on agar plates. The medium allows enumeration of acidogenic bacteria in no more than 72 hours; the results are highly reproducible. Keywords
