To teach so-called literary journalism in a more practical vein, taking into account Wolfe's New Journalism but going beyond it, St. Bonaventure University's Department of Mass Communication called in a professional newsman who's been working successfully with advanced writing techniques. Anthony Cardinale is an investigative and feature writer for The Buffalo (N.Y.) News. Prof. Russell J. Jandoli, his former teacher, heads the university's Department of Mass Communication.
