Abstract
CdS-Ag nanocomposite arrays were successfully prepared by the electrochemical approach based on CdS hierarchical nano-arrays as templates. The optical signatures, including UV-vis absorption, photoluminescence (PL), Raman, and electro-chemiluminescence (ECL), of the CdS-Ag nanocomposite arrays and hierarchical CdS nano-arrays are spectrally distinct, allowing strong coupling between CdS and Ag. A novel hydrogen peroxide ECL sensor based on the CdS-Ag nanocomposite arrays fabricated with our unique assembling strategy has a low detection limit of 1.5 × 10−8 M.Keywords
