Abstract
A convenient approach for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrazoles is described. The method involves the treatment of 1,3-diketones and allyltrimethylsilane with CAN followed by cerium-catalyzed addition of substituted hydrazines to construct pyrazoles in good yields. Keywords
