Abstract
This review focuses on the results of exploratory syntheses of alkaline-earth-metal actinide chalcogenides Ak–An–Q (Ak = Ba, Sr; An = Th, U; Q = S, Se, and Te). About thirty new compounds and eleven new structure types are described. Keywords
