Abstract
An on-chip antenna suitable for radio frequency identification at UHF band is presented. It is integrated with an EPC Class 1 Generation 2 compatible tag in SMIC 0.18 µm standard CMOS process. The tag achieves a 1 cm communication distance with 1 W reader output power. Keywords
