Abstract
The high yielding asymmetric deprotonation trapping of N-Boc piperidine is successfully realized using s-BuLi and a (+)-sparteine surrogate. Monitoring of the lithiation by in situ React IR allowed the direct observation of a prelithiation complex.Keywords
