Abstract
Geoffrey Elliott and Michael Crossley are at the School of Education of the University of Bristol. In this paper they present a case for the increased application of qualitative research methodologies in the study of educational management. This view is explored in the context of a study of aspects of the management of the newly incorporated further education sector.Keywords
