O‐Glycosylation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae is initiated at the endoplasmic reticulum

Abstract
The first mannose of O-linked oligomannose chains in S. cerevisiae is transferred to Ser/Thr residues via dolichylphosphate mannose. Only this reaction (and not the subsequent reactions requiring GDP-Man) proceeds at the endoplasmic reticulum.This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
