Abstract
This study was designed to investigate the biodegradability pure Dioxane. The microbial seed for this study was obtained from the acclimatized industrial waste, and microorganisms responsible for the degradation of Dioxane were isolated. Biological growth was measured by monitoring oxygen uptake in an electrolytic respirometer. A mathematical model utilizing oxygen uptake and substrate depletion data was developed to describe the log growth of the isolates on pure Dioxane. Keywords
