Abstract
Background. Paraquat (PQ) is a non-selective herbicide that generates reactive oxygen species in vivo. We hypothesized that acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients with acute PQ poisoning would provide a model for the clinical features of ROS-induced AKI.Keywords
