Abstract
Electrically powered vehicles represent an option to replace fossil fuel. Distributed charging stations are essential to ensure mobility. Charging stations not only charge electric vehicles' traction batteries, they also function as an interface between vehicles and the grid. Two different types of charging stations have been developed for research projects and academic programs and will be presented in the paper. Keywords
