Studies on the Virus of Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis in Trinidad, W.I.

Abstract

Summary Isolation of numerous strains of VEE virus from mosquitoes, sentinel mice and field rodents in Trinidad in 1959, 1960 and 1961 is reported. These constitute the first recoveries of this agent in Trinidad since the original isolations in 1943.
