Abstract
CdSxSe1-x(0<x<1) films have been grown by pyrolytic decomposition. Complete solid solutions are found to form over the entire composition range. The films are of hexagonal structure. The lattice constants vary linearly with composition. The variation of optical band gap with composition is found to be slightly nonlinear. Keywords
