Abstract
Two forms of Origanum vulgare are found growing wild in Portugal. One form, which is widespread in growth possessed an oil which was rich in linalool (36.85%). In contrast, the other oil, which has a localized growth in Southern Portugal, possessed an oil that was rich in thymol (31.86%).Keywords
