A triterpene, lupeol, a sterol, β sitosterol and four coumarins, bergapten, phellopterin, myrsellin and myrsellinol have been isolated from Myrtopsis sellingii; myrsellin and myrsellinol are new; their structures have been established as (3', 3'-dimethyl–2', 3'-epoxy-butyloxy)–7–(3", 3"-dimethylallyl)–8–coumarin for myrsellin, and (3' ,3' -dimethyl–2' 3' -dihydroxy-butyloxy)–7–(3" ,3" -dimethylallyl)–8–coumarin for myrsellinol. Un triterpène, le lupéol, un stérol, le β-sitosterol, et quatre coumarines, le bergaptène, la phelloptérine, la myrselline et le myrsellinol, ont été isolés des tiges feuillées de Myrtopsis sellingii; la myrselline et le myrsellinol sont nouveaux; leurs structures sont celles de la (3' ,3' -dimethyl–2' ,3' -epoxy-butyloxy)–7–(3" ,3" -diméthylallyl)–8–coumarine pour la myrselline, et de la (3',3'-diméthyl–2', 3'-dihydroxy-butyloxy)–7–(3",3"-diméthylallyl)–8–coumarine pour le myrsellinol.
