Abstract
We evaluated 42 hydronephrotic kidneys with diuretic renography and pressure perfusion studies to diagnose or exclude the presence of obstruction. Both studies were highly accurate but a small number of false positive and false negative studies were observed with each testing modality. The advantages, disadvantages and potential sources of inaccuracy of each study are discussed, and a protocol for the evaluation of hydronephrosis incorporating both studies is proposed. Keywords
