Abstract
The long‐time decay of the surface potential of corona‐charged naphthalene crystals has been analyzed. The decay curves are explained using an exponential distribution of traps of the form exp[−(E−1.1 eV)/kTc], where Tc∼600 °K. The total number of traps is estimated to be approximately 1013/cm3. The long‐time decay is also evidence for dispersive transport in crystalline material due to a distribution of traps. Keywords
