Increasing the Awareness of the General Population: An Important Step in Elimination Programs of Viral Hepatitis

Abstract

To the Editor: Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced its strategy for prioritizing viral hepatitis, and called for actions to eliminate it in most parts of the world, and control it in others by 2030 (1). Prevention seems the most impactful public health intervention for elimination of viral hepatitis (2).
