To the Editor: In a letter to the Editor (Dec. 4, 1986, issue),¹ Brayshaw and Brayshaw reported the presence of thyroid dysfunction in 94 percent of their sample of women with premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and the complete relief of premenstrual symptoms in 34 patients treated with levothyroxine.
