Abstract
This article addresses the issue of `race' and racism in the context of Group-analytic psychotherapy. My contention is that at present there is no specific Group-analytic understanding of racism. 7he article is aimed at group conductors, focusing on what terms might be used to view these issues as they manifest in groups. It challenges the notion of `race' as an objective category and examines ways of viewing the phenomena of `race' and racism as dynamic processes rather than as fixed and concrete events. Keywords
