Abstract
The calibration of five-hole probes has been limited in the range of accepted angles of calibration. Potential flow theory is used to model a traditional method of calibration, and the theoretical limitations and consequences are examined. A theoretical basis for extending the range of angles included in calibration is subsequently given. Keywords
