Akylheteroaromatics as Building Blocks for the Synthesis of Condensed Polyfunctionally Substituted Heterocycles

Abstract
Some recent applications of polyfunctionally substituted alkylheteroaromatics as building blocks for synthesis of condensed heteroaromatics are reported. These include (a) synthesis of benzoazines utilising methyl-azinylcarbonitriles (b) synthesis of condensed azoles from functionally substituted methyl 1,3-azoles (c) synthesis of condensed heteroaromatics from trichloromethylazines and trichloromethylazoles. 1.
